SO HAPPY TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Since the shipping of Letters to a Future Champion began a month ago, many of those who received the book — as a gift or otherwise — have shared their photos with me. Some even included photos of their kids or dogs with their books! This has been such a wonderful thing to experience from my end, and I thank each of you for taking the time to do that. It almost brings back the emotions I felt when I opened the mailbox over four decades ago to find a letter from Mr. Pulver!
I’ve learned so much about the fulfillment process. It has humbled my SuperWoman mentality. I’ve reached out for help in packaging/shipping, and while I have made some mistakes with a couple of orders, I did my best to make good on them. We’ve even had our first porch pirate incident. Ugh. I appreciate your patience in this and also appreciate you sharing your feedback on not only the fulfillment process, but the book itself.
Last week I made the decision to order a significant second reprint after selling out of the hardcover. I have all of you to thank for it. Personal letters will go out for Father’s Day gifts if you would like to pre-order the book(s) for that special guy. Shipping will again be underway by July 1. The limited-edition, deluxe edition is still available (including a private Zoom session with me and my CBS colleague, Jim Nantz, in late June). That version ships within a week.
Again, thank you for your overwhelming support and for sharing with me your experiences of reading the book. I was pleased that it brought back memories of your own mentors. Exactly what I was hoping for!
Onward to the PGA Championship this week at Kiawah Island, and I will recap that for you next week.
Be well and be safe.
