LUCKY #13

Some folks would believe the number 13 is superstitiously filled with bad fortune; I happen to think the 13th installment of Pepper’s Perspective is nothing but lucky, if not totally blessed.

This update comes to you with the happy news that the support for the first two versions of Letters to a Future Champion has been so strong that I was able to reprint hardcovers — the first printing of the hardcover version sold out in less than a month — and also achieve the early goal of printing enough softcovers at an affordable price to get the books in the hands of many more people, including young golfers, their coaches, and teachers.

To all of you, a toast of great thanks!

And beyond that, you have begun to give back even more as there have been multiple orders of the paperback (there is a bulk order discount) directed as gifts to young golfers at camps, etc!

One such order made its way to Brookhaven Golf Club— yes, Mr. Pulver’s design project at Brookhaven that is mentioned so prominently in the book. The order is for the junior golf camp participants and two PGA Jr. League Teams, one of which is named “Pulver’s Pride.”

Six years ago, the total number of campers at Brookhaven was in the low teens and camp was for one week. Today it totals over 100 kids with not one, but two PGA Jr. League Teams and camp programs spread over two months.

Thank you for your support of the book today but also for making Mr. Pulver’s teaching continue onward to the next generation of the game.

And next up because of your support: the audio book recording will begin at the end of August with the goal of it being available for the holidays.

No unlucky 13 here — this edition has been filled with blessings that overflow.
